- present a series of free video art lessons
“Normally, teaching artists go into grades 1-5 classrooms weekly to teach VISUAL ARTS lessons, but this year, we all had to ADAPT. So we filmed standards-based, art lessons for our students! The videos in this program are professionally filmed visual arts lessons from some of our locally famous teaching artists in our ARTISTS IN SCHOOLS program, like Denise Wey.
We hope you enjoy them and we want to thank Nevada County Superintendent of Schools for help with funding this project so we could send out to all Nevada County elementary students. Nevada County Arts Council is also in partnership with the California Arts Alliance for the grant funding. Thank you everyone!”
