Creating art is every person’s birthright and, as a medium, watercolor is rich and rewarding, especially if you go at it with an exploratory and fun attitude! These courses are geared to beginners, although it is really suitable for any skill level; for those who want to refresh with the basics or for those who want to make Art a consistent practice in their lives. We’ll cover all of the basics; wet-in wet, wet-in-dry, color mixing, washes, brushwork, etc, and all the while, the world will melt away around us while we are in our creation zone!

Watercolor Painting for Beginners

This is a 6-week refreshment course on the basics in painting with watercolors.
Explore what watercolor can do without having a background in art…it can be a very playful and fun process, if you can allow yourself to abandon ideas of perfection and just discover.

These classes are geared to beginners but they’re also for anyone who feels called to pick up the brush; mb you took art in collage and then had a family or went to work and now you’d like to pick up where you left off? Mb you don’t make art without some structure such as classes? Mb you’re just looking for some inspiration? Mb you came to the right place?

This is a playful 6-week watercolor painting session in which we will add a little information about composition and art elements to our watercolor discoveries. This could stimulate our flow of ideas and add to our art toolkit!

Though these classes are geared to beginners, they’re also for anyone who feels called to pick up the brush; if you feel that call, then give yourself this gift of creative expression!

Watercolor Painting for Beginners

In this 6-week watercolor session, we will explore the awakening, budding springtime through botanical painting. We will work quite free-form, suggesting nature and growing things. So we have extra fun, we’ll use some gold metallic watercolor paint as well!
